Short bio
Bald Chewbacca is an electronic/industrial project that blends weird samples, heavy bass sounds and unusual synthesizers. Its records map places and run world events through an experimental filter: the Olympics, the German federal elections, the World Cup. Tracks switch languages at will; the rare live shows are minimal and physical. Press materials and specs are in the EPK.

“Bald Chewbacca at the World Cup” is an album that charges you. [Indie Boulevard]
It’s rare today to find projects so committed to breaking away from familiar patterns, seeking electronic solutions that are never predictable yet consistently engaging. This is serious work: you can sense the attention to detail and the desire to craft a sonic experience that goes beyond simply capturing a concert, transforming it into a real journey. And this journey has an unmistakably lysergic quality. [Distopic.it]
The music is pure club energy, and although it works best in a dark underground space, it also holds up surprisingly well in headphones. [Bald Chewbacca] creates raw sonic worlds, weaving eclectic mixes of synths and drone textures. [Motel Void]
Listening to this record (Live at Madame Claude) is the closest you will come to a life-altering assault, a philosophical rave, and a séance of dark magic all at once. Here, music is not background, it is an event that might change you. [Soundville]
